<li>Personalized reminders for daily management</li>
<li>Regular feedback on prevention success</li>
<li>Exportable reports to support clinical diagnosis</li>
<li>Guided relaxation exercises featuring Jacobson’s progressive muscle relaxation technique</li>

As part of a nationwide pilot project on headache prevention, the app is provided at no cost to all users. There are no subscription fees, in-app purchases, or advertisements now or in the future, ensuring continued free access.

The app’s recommendations and knowledge base are based on current scientific findings and extensive clinical experience in headache diagnosis and therapy.

The “KopfHoch” pilot project—focused on effective prevention of headaches and migraines at university level—is managed by ZIES gemeinnützige GmbH under the medical leadership of Prof. Dr. med. Dipl.-Psych. Hartmut Göbel, with funding from BARMER statutory health insurance as part of its preventive mandate nationwide.

Prof. Dr. med. Dipl.-Psych. Hartmut Göbel, director of Kiel Pain Clinic, is a recognized international expert in headache disorders. He contributes to the internationally established “International Classification of Headache Disorders” (ICHD) and has received multiple awards for his research in headache and migraine.

Data protection measures are strictly observed: all user-entered data remains exclusively on the device and is not transmitted or shared with third parties unless actively submitted by the user, such as to a healthcare provider.
